I’m usually a water only sort of person, with the occasional sparkling water or Izze thrown in. But you know what I can really get behind?
Drinking ice cream.
Especially when said ice cream also happens to taste like chocolate chip cookies. I may not be one to dunk my cookies in milk, but throw them in the blender with some good vanilla ice cream and I am alllll about it. Not to mention that milkshakes are just about the easiest dessert in the history of ever to make. Just throw it all in blender and watch the magic happen!
Cookies and Milk Milkshakes are a perfect combination of two beloved desserts–cookies and milk and a vanilla milkshake. It doesn’t get more classic!
INGREDIENTS
- 4 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 1/2 cups cookie dough
- 2–4 Tbsp. chocolate sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat your oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Crumble the cookie dough into small pieces over the parchment and bake for 5-8 minutes, or until the crumbs are a light golden brown. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
Pour 1 cup of milk into the jar of a blender, then scoop in four cups of ice cream. Add about half of the cookie crumbles, then place the lid on and blend on high until the mixture is smooth. Depending on the strength of your blender, you may need to add a bit more milk.
Drizzle the chocolate sauce on the inside of your serving cups, then pour the milkshake mixture over it. Top with the remaining cookie crumbs and serve immediately.
